Mr. Bergstein’s work. I loved all the cross referencing to Gregory Gillespie, whose work I have loved since the 90s.

I can’t remember much but I do remember that he was very encouraging and seem to want everyone to find their own way, which is probably what most good teachers do. Love his paintings, he should be a star!

It left be out of breathe And exhausted and wanting to hide away some place in the woods and read it all again very very slowly …. Like upstate NY in Blue Mountain Lake with 12 feet of snow outside so I could absorb it all … for a shy guy Gerry said a lot .. great interview. More people need to read it … maybe I paint tomorrow finally !!! Henry would love to read this and then complain and be critical … and just sit there with Gerry and listen to some ?? Fir an hour or so . Then both would say nothing and leave in silence … special people !!!
